This is an awesome technique where I change the color of the metal (copper) with a chemical I use with my torch. This is not paint or an added topical color. I used a gorgeous piece of Ammolite (5/8″ x 1/2″) in this ring. Ammolite is a rare fossil that is mined in Canada and this one has the most coveted colors of deep blue, purple, green, and even a spot of aqua. I bezel set the stone and polished just the edge of the metal around the stone to make it “pop”. This ring band has a beautiful deep blue/purple patina treatment that I have done on Nu Gold Brass. This is not a paint or added color…it’s a chemical I used with the heat of my torch that permanently changes the color of the metal. Really cool! Width is just under 1/2″ and size is 7.5, but is adjustable up 1-2 sizes. To go down in size just let me know. Metal has been sealed to protect finish. ***Sorry-SOLD!

This Ammolite has hues of blue, purple, and green- the most coveted colors in an Ammolite which is a fossil that is mined in Canada. Band is hammered copper and is 1/2″ wide. Size is 9 1/4, but can go up 1-2 sizes. To go down in size just let me know. Front design is 1 1/4″ in height. Copper is brought to a high polish & then sealed to protect finish. This ring really “pops” on the hand. Great statement ring!

I have no way to describe how insanely beautiful this Red Labradorite ( 1 12/” x 3/4″) is. It is one of the coolest gemstones I’ve seen in awhile. I’m doing my very best to get more of it. So it’s bezel set in Nu Gold Brass to my blue purple patina collar necklace band. This is a technique where I change the color of the metal by adding a chemical during the heating process with my torch. This is a permanent color change to the metal not paint. Band is about 1/2″ wide and size is adjustable to fit most. These collars are very comfortable and are shaped to fit perfectly around your neck. Metal has been sealed to protect finish. I love this piece! The great thing about this finish is that it’s actually a neutral. Although there are many colors in it, they are toned down so it would go with anything.

I wanted this piece to have a raw, earthy feel to it. I used a great piece of Turquoise (1 1/2″ x 1 1/8″) with a cascade of blue and green color across it. Bezel set in copper to a hammered copper band with upturned edge. I fired the copper to bring out rich tones and then sanded it to bring forth the bright copper on raised areas & create texture.
